The Foundation for the Application and Teaching of Science (FUNDAEC) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1974 in Cali, Colombia. For more than 40 years, FUNDAEC has focused on building capacities in education, agriculture, community development, and local economies. By integrating action and research, FUNDAEC aims to transform daily practices and improve overall well-being.

TwoWings is a non-profit organization registered since 1996 in Linz, Austria. TwoWings supports small, sustainable education programs that have been established locally. The focus is on the promotion and development of educational opportunities for youth and children, girls and boys. The goal is to enable people to recognize individual strengths and to contribute to the well-being of the whole community. In this way, a better, united, peaceful world can emerge.

The TwoWings Foundation takes pride in supporting global education and tree-planting efforts through the Planting Hope program. Planting Hope currently supports the Fostering Business and Climate Action program in collaboration with FUNDAEC NGO in Colombia and the Environmental Health program in collaboration with the Inshindo Foundation in Zambia.

The Inshindo Foundation, founded in 2007 and recognized by Zambian authorities, empowers youth for personal growth and community involvement. This Foundation introduced the Environmental Health Program-Tree Planting Project (EHP-TPP) in 2023 to champion environmental sustainability.

The accelerated deterioration of the environment and its effects on humans, plants, and animal species inspired the Planting Hope program. This initiative focuses on empowering local communities, especially girls and women, to create significant positive changes in their lives and the environment.
